Little by Little (a poem by Jenni L’Eon)

Little by Little

by: Jenni L’Eon

I am more than my weaknesses.

Free of shame and the hopelessness I’ve carried all my life.

I am tender.

I am a woman of endurance.

I am graceful and blemished with compassion equal to that of the “weeping prophet” himself.

I am loyal and delicate and tremble at rejection.

I am charitable and an honest listener and fight with the idols in my life.

I’m Floridian and all things family and reaching for heaven some divine day.

I am still grieving the loss of a life never lived and remain convicted and firm in my faith.

And God molds me and adores me and wants me

BROKEN ME

As I learn to trust more in Him little by little each day.

  1. Beautifully expressed. Eloquently stated. You are stronger than you know and continue to stay positive. You are in my prayers. Thank you for sharing 😊
